Terms of Service

Welcome to Kairo. By creating an account or using the Kairo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Kairo is an AI-native life operating system that connects planning, tracking, habit-building, and daily reflection — with an AI that learns who you are over time.

To use Kairo, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

During the alpha period, registration requires an invite code provided by the Kairo team.

Kairo provides the following capabilities:

• Wellbeing tracking — set aims, log daily entries, and visualise progress over time
• AI-assisted plan building — conversational coaching sessions that help you create structured improvement plans
• Document-based editing — rich, block-based plan documents with versioning and collaboration features
• Health integrations — connect Oura Ring and Strava to import sleep, activity, and workout data
• Memory & context — the AI learns from your conversations to provide more personalised coaching over time

Kairo uses artificial intelligence services to power its coaching and plan-building features. Specifically:

• Conversations are processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate responses and suggestions
• Text is processed by Voyage AI to create semantic embeddings that improve context and relevance

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated suggestions are not deterministic and may vary between sessions
• Kairo does not control the outputs of third-party AI models and cannot guarantee their accuracy
• AI responses should be treated as suggestions, not prescriptions
• You are responsible for evaluating and acting upon any AI-generated content

Kairo is NOT medical software and does not provide medical advice.

• The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or health advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or received through Kairo
• If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately
• Data from integrations (Oura, Strava) is displayed for informational purposes only and should not be used for medical decision-making

Kairo integrates with third-party services to enhance your experience:

• Oura — sleep, readiness, and activity data accessed via the Oura API
• Strava — workout and exercise data accessed via the Strava API

By connecting these integrations, you:

• Authorise Kairo to access your data from these services on your behalf
• Acknowledge that Kairo is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party data
• Agree that your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies

You may disconnect integrations at any time from your Settings page.

You retain ownership of all content you create on Kairo, including plans, tracking entries, and conversation history. By using the Service, you grant Kairo a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to access, scrape, or extract data from the Service through automated means
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or other harmful material
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity

By you: You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By Kairo: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. We will notify you before or promptly after any such action, where practicable.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

During the alpha period, you specifically acknowledge that:

• The Service may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features
• Uptime and data persistence are not guaranteed at production-grade levels
• AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
• Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kairo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kairo operates. The specific governing jurisdiction will be finalised with legal counsel before general availability.

Kairo Poker is a free hand-study and decision-review tool. It is NOT a real-money gambling service, betting platform, or game of chance.

• The tool is provided for educational study and review of poker hands and decisions. No wagers are placed, no money or anything of value is staked, won, or lost, and no payouts are made through the Service.
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use Kairo Poker. You confirm this when you start using the tool.
• Equity and expected-value figures are mathematical estimates produced for study purposes only. They are not advice to gamble, not financial advice, and not a prediction or guarantee of any outcome.
• You are responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction regarding poker, gambling, and gambling-related content.
• Shared hands. When you share a hand study, a frozen, redacted copy is created at a private link. You are responsible for the content you publish and must not share unlawful, abusive, infringing, or privacy-violating content. We may remove shared content that violates these Terms, and you may revoke your own shares at any time.
